Sandra G. is a Senior Coordinator in our Investigator Support Services Call Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Sandra is fluent in Spanish and primarily focuses on our investigator sites in Latin America. Sandra knows that investigator sites play a key role in the clinical trial process and she is there to ensure all their needs are met. Sandra is originally from Chile and enjoys assisting her Latin America sites with any questions they may have during the course of their clinical trial. Sandra began her career at Covance Central Laboratories 13 years ago and truly enjoys her job. Sandra provides exemplary customer service and is frequently mentioned in the Covance Site Survey for her “can do” attitude and her commitment to operational and service excellence.

Covance Central Laboratory Services has 4 Investigator Support Services Call Center locations in Indianapolis, Geneva Switzerland, Singapore and Tokyo. When it is critical to conserve the amount of blood drawn from the patient, such as pediatric studies, Covance will provide a variety of small volume Sarstedt Monovette® blood tubes.  These tubes are designed to be used either with an aspiration technique or vacuum principle.  As such, the tubes come with a plunger and a special butterfly needle adapter.  We recommend using the vacuum principle to collect the specimens. Significant Changes Regarding 2011 IATA Shipping Regulations

Changes Regarding 2011 IATA Shipping RegulationsAttention:  EU Investigator Sites

On 01-Jan-2011, New IATA requirements, regarding the completion of Air Waybills used for the shipment of UN3373, Biological Substance, Category B, became mandatory. Because this is an IATA only change, the changes are not applicable to sites in the US shipping with UPS.  For US domestic shipments UPS follows the United States Code of Federal Regulations in 49CFR which are unchanged.  [more]
